Sister's book on Bede and the Psalms is wonderful. Not only does it explain the importance of the Psalms as prayers but it contains so much rich church history. Her book is excellent and I intend on reading everything she has written on the desert fsthers. I have adored the Psalms since age 6 and have prayed and chanted them nightly and daily through my entire life. The Psalms are one of God's many great gifts to humankind.
