My first one arrived damaged (though I think it's because the mail carrier crammed it into my mailbox) but they send a replacement very quickly. What I love about this Bible is that is has footnotes to explain all kinds of details. I am trying to read the entire Bible over the course of a year and for a Catholic who hasn't sat down and studied the Bible much before the footnotes are very helpful. It also has an introduction before each new book to give you a background of how/when it was written and some notes on the content which has been extremely helpful in understanding some of the denser passages.I would recommend this Bible for anyone who is somewhat new to reading the Bible in depth or someone who is rusty on their Bible reading. I'm almost 30 but the fact that it's marketed more toward students didn't deter me and I'm so glad it didn't.

After trying several different Catholic Bibles, I was pleased to find this one. It is the latest version of the NAB, Revised Edition. (Even includes a page with a picture of Pope Francis!) It has a nice looking cover. It is just the right size to carry - and it feels like you are carrying a Bible (if that makes sense). The print is no smaller than any other Bible that is not XL. While all Bibles today seem to be appropriate for all Christian denominations, I am glad to have what I believe to be the most current and appropriate Catholic Bible.

This is my first Bible I've owned and so far I'm impressed. The print quality is impressive and it's a portable size. The hardcover is really nice looking and has stayed in good condition regardless of it bouncing around in my backpack. It comes with a wealth of information in the front and back and even includes a picture of Pope Francis. I see no reason I'd need a different Bible.

Very easy to get to the area of the Bible you want to get to, i.e., New Testament chapters, Old Testament chapters, whatever. With the book closed, you have markers on the side of the pages that indicate where a chapter starts and ends. If you have an idea where the chapter you want to read is located, its very easy to flip right to it, or at least get into the general area. If you're looking for a new copy of the NAB, I highly recommend this version.

Print is smaller than i expected and the binding is too tight. There is practically no inside margin so it is difficult to read text near the center. Otherwise, nice edition, good size and the ede indexing is a good feature.

I use this Bible for my personal reading and some studying. I am a Roman Catholic Seminarian preparing for Priesthood and this version of the Holy Bible is very Catholic and is easy to understand.

Well of course I love it, it's the Bible. This version is modern language and easy to use notations. I bought this as a gift for a friend who is just starting Scripture Study.
Well made inexpensive Catholic bible. The pages are thin and text can be seen through them, but it lays flat and is high quality.
