Happened to order this a few days before I went to the beach. It was such a introspective thing for me and it started me on a deeper journey to know my Savior. It got me started on a great path that I had wavered a bit from recently. It's a good healing week long devotional and particulary helpful if you are at the beach.

Although the devotions are written to be consecutively completed during a week's reflection, I used this over a series of week when I would go to the beach on the weekends. Mark Jordan has a beautiful way of inviting Christian reflection through the complexity of coastal life. Whether you are a detailed journal-er or more of a contemplative soul, this devotion will allow you to grow closer to God while digging your feet into the sand.

This is one of my very favorite devotional books. Mark Jordan's gift of writing is fabulous. The reader cannot help but be transformed to the beach and able to feel, see, and be part of all of God's glorious creation. A must for all who love the water's edge.

This is a great book. Whether you've fallen alot off of your walk with God, in a few areas, or maybe not at all, you will enjoy making this book part of your quiet time. I loved taking this book down to the beach, taking in the sights and sounds of God's creation while communing with him.

The book was alright. Not exactly what I expected but not too bad. Probably not a book I would recommend or purchase for someone else.

Beautiful devotional to be done beachside. Mark Jordan does a wonderful job of showing God's grandeur and provision through the elements at the beach. You will not be disappointed by the book

I live on the beach and this delightful devotional has been my morning meal :)
Not as good as Devotions at the Beach in hardcover which contains beautiful pictures along with a prayerful narrative...small paper back.
