PURPOSE AND PERSPECTIVE It is important for the student to realize that maintaining effective communication is a major challenge for most organizations. Impersonal communication is a one-way process designed to present facts, instructions, and the like. Interpersonal communication is a two-way exchange in which the receiver understands the message in the way that the sender intended. Both the sender and the receiver are responsible for making sure that the message is clearly understood.

It's a well put together book and contains a great deal of information worth considering. It's also full of references to supporting articles, books, and information.

I bought this text for a college class. At first, I just needed it for class, but I ended up liking the book very much for the occupational psychology aspects of this book. If you have problems communicating with subordinates or coworkers, this will have some key ways to expend communications skills. A very good book on communication in the workplace.

Nothing really special about this book, it is very down to earth but nothing that really gets you thinking (just common sense kind of stuff), but like i said had to have it for a college course.

This was actually a pretty good book. It is highway robbery what they charged for it. But the content was quite good.
Looks new.
