Very Short, Fairly Interesting" is British understatement if I've ever heard it. If you're studying business or organizational management, this book succinctly lays out the philosophic tensions that underlie much of modern theory, and in doing so, lends sense to the many conflicting business remedies being thrown about today. Chapter 6 - 'Business Schools and the Myth of Easily the best book I have read about studying organizations - and also the shortest. Studying organizations is hard, if not impossible. Talk to five experts and they'll say five different things.

I liked the style this book was written in. It kept my attention, and overall the theory behind the book and all of its chapters were very insightful and I agreed with them. The only downside I had with this book was that I disagreed with some of Grey's points of views within the sub-categories of the text. And this is hardly a complaint, since one cannot expect to agree with everyone. Seeing others points of view which differ from yours are good, but it was the books weak point. Overall, very satisfied and glad I read it!
