The McDuff books are the most wonderful books for children. They tell a very sweet story and are durable. We find them particularly special since we have a Westie and the personality is captured in these books. They are now favorites of my children as they were favorites of my own children.

We love all the McDuff books but this one is great for Christmas - Santa gets stuck in the garage and they feed him treats and send him on his way.

My son, age 3, loves this book. The nighttime setting and wait for Santa gives it suspense, and McDuff's ventures out into the snow make for a very vivid read! It's his favorite McDuff story, along with McDuff Comes Home.
