Bought this, along with a few others from the set, for my oldest grandson for Christmas . . . He loved them so much, I ended up buying the rest for his Birthday.
All the other grandchildren loved them so much, I will be buying a set for each of my kids families.
AWESOME !

I had checked this book out from my local public library. I liked it so much I wanted my own copy. I used it with a pirate lesson in speech therapy.

My four year old son loves this book because of the wonderful photos and maps. We skip over the inappropriate pages for a small child (torture and punishment pages)! He wants to read it every night and has really learned great facts about geography and history. The pirate facts are realistic, not glamorized.
