My wife had a copy of this book for many years,it was her favourite cook book.
Unfortunately it was severely water damaged. She tried to buy the same book through a local book shop but with no luck.
A search on Amazon showed that one was This book is still in print after all these years. I bought her one and surprised her with it. She could not believe it. The cover is different to the original but the contents are absolutely identical to the original.
My wife has since bought another three for friends. She has had many cookbooks in the past and given them all away but this is one she will not give away.

Recipes that are easy to follow, but look and taste great! Unlike most 'in vogue' cookbooks it doesn't ask for a dozen pricey and hard to find ingredients for each dish, but still produce good results!
Includes useful sections with colour pics of different vegetable types, cuts of meat, pastas etc.
Very good for those with only a beginners background in cooking, also useful for those who know how to cook and are looking for a great collection of recipes to add to their repertoire.
This book includes many `stock standard fare' recipes, as well as an interesting mix of exotic and exciting dishes. Would definitely recommend!

This is the cookbook I have in two kitchens as it's reliable, easy to use with both metric and American measurements, and very reliable. It has some interesting and unusual (to Americans) recipes but best, it's simple and concise, with some nice photos.

This is an all-round recipe book with clear instructions, pictures, and food information. A 'must have' book. Our daughter was given one, she married and moved and her cook book went too so we HAD to get another for the family!
