Only 1 left in stock (more on the way). Great book by David Rocco Loved how he combined his adventures in Italy with cooking.

Only 1 left in stock (more on the way).

David's Dolce Vita cookbook is phenomenal. The layout is spectacular, and the photography is vivido. Lots of love put into this cookbook, and David's voice is apparent throughout the book. The cookbook feels like a high school yearbook, you just want to show it to all your friends, and go through it continuously. The recipes are easy to follow, and are well described. It has the recipes from the show and much, much more.

Take a sneak peak at David Rocco's stunning cookbook, David Rocco's Dolce Vita! . A throwback from literally our first scene from the very first episode of Dolce Vita Season 2003 in Florence. I remember Giorgio our series Director telling Nina (well not in front of me, Nina only told me years later) we’ll keep things easy for the first day of filming and just have him do the easy stuff like run because David will be nervous.

“I’m not a chef; I’m Italian!”After three seasons of the popular television series David Rocco’s Dolce Vita, its eponymous host David Rocco has become one of Canada’s most popular celebrity cooks. His show is aired on Food Network Canada, in Italian on TLN and in French in Quebec via TVA . He was chosen as one of Flare magazine’s 20 most stylish Canadians. David’s popularity goes well beyond Canada. His show airs in 100 countries around the world. As a proud Italian-Canadian, David says his love for food, cooking, and preparing meals for friends and family is part of his DNA .    Eagerly anticipated, this book is full of everything that makes the TV show such a favourite: beautiful food photography and locales, and, of course, David’s sense of la dolce vita, the sweet life. His cookbook is all about taking a relaxed, enjoyable approach to the everyday, and the foundation of this lifestyle is simple, elegant food. David’s easygoing style embraces straightforward ingredients and techniques to create wonderful dishes anyone can enjoy without stress. He emphasizes the philosophy of quanto basta, or “just enough,” and encourages readers to suit their own tastes.    Try some of David’s wonderful sfizzi, simple but sophisticated snacks: Fiori de zucca (zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies) or Frico (parmigiano chips). Delight in Spaghetti con pomodorini e pecorino (spaghetti with cherry tomato sauce and pecorino cheese), delicious Beef carpaccio (easier than you think!), or melt-in-your-mouth Gnudi (“naked” ravioli). For something truly sweet, why not try his simple spin on the classic Italian dessert, Tiramisù al limone? From antipasti to mains to desserts to brilliant and delicious uses for leftovers, David Rocco shows you how to bring la dolce vita into your life.

i bought this cookbook after becoming hooked on the david rocco dolce vita cooking show, it is so addicting! the cookbook stands alone or as a supplement to the show. beautifully photographed and the recipes have been easy to reproduce. i enjoy the way david rocco writes his recipes and has sections describing his life in italy. has a bit of a memoir aspect to it. i highly recommend this book for both it's recipes and the gorgeous style it was written in. love it!!

I have wanted this book for quite a while and now I was able to get it at a very good price. And it's in great condition (as promised)! As for the content, the photos are beautiful and capture the deliciousness of the food and the spirit of Italy. I lived in Florence for about a year, so Rocco's recipes bring me back to that time when you cooked with whatever was in season. This book makes me miss the TV show (which made me miss Florence). If you don't already own this book, get it today for a slice of la dolce vita!

Great book by David Rocco. Wish he was still doing his show.. Loved how he combined his adventures in Italy with cooking. Well at least I have his cookbook now!

I gave this cookbook to my husand as a birthday gift.
It is all that I expected and more. David's recipes
are all "doable" and enticing. Even if you have not
been to Italy, his comments about the food, people,
culture and the country itself are educational.
Looking at the beautiful pictures makes you feel
transported back to this amazing country.
I also purchased the fun CD of music from David's
television show. I was surprised to find it came
with it's own smaller picture cookbook, an added bonus!
Both make wonderful gifts that the giver can enjoy as well!
I highly recommend both.

Buon appetito!

I try to never miss David Rocco's TV show because he makes everything look so easy and simple. This cookbook has a lot of the recipes that were in the first couple of seasons. It's so much easier to see them written down instead of trying to recreate them from just watching the show. Also, David's notes about "La Dolce Vita" help me to live a sweeter life....even here in the US.

Beautiful photography and some of the recipes were a little more challenging which I liked. It is well organized and I especially appreciated the antipasti and side dishes. I usually can come up with a main course but get stuck with the "other stuff."
love David Rooco<s book
