The only thing I think would make this a 5-star book is something I found in another book, that was lacking other things. However, they visually represented what an original versus a reproduction looked like and then pointed out differences, like if the engraving reached the edge of the glass, that was original whereas reproductions stopped short, etc. (made up example - it might actually be the other way around.

The graphic representations of the various glass patterns make identification of closely associated patterns very easy. Unlike similar books that have nice pictures that are impossible to determine a pattern from (Florence is a classic example), the approach taken by Ms. Schroy is one that is quite usable. I higly recommend it and use it almost daily.
