This book appears to have been hastily thrown together. None of the puzzles is numbered, which makes checking answers a bit of a headache. I numbered them myself, but should I have had to do this? I certainly never have before. The puzzles cover old television shows, some of which are in perpetual rerun status, but certainly not all. The vast majority of the clues have nothing at all to do with the television show(s) included in the title of the puzzle. The puzzles themselves are medium to easy, as long as you remember that many of the answers consist of several words and that the clues are often lame. (They're also occasionally infuriating, like the clue for ADHD which implies that it is an imaginary disease.)

I enjoy solving puzzles, but perhaps not Mr. Timmerman's.

As someone who does alot of TV crosswords I was very disappointed in this book. The first problem is that there are not alot of clues about TV at all. Each page has a theme but it only has 3 or 4 clues about that theme and the rest are unrelated. Also, some of the clues were questionable. for example: clue-smart, answer-hurts. clue-commendation, answer-eulogy. clue-riveter of song, answer-rosie. He needs to check his history on who Rosie the riveter was. And since the author obviously does not know, the Browns are now the Ravens, not the Orioles as his puzzle states. There are many like those. Also the number of words for an answer is either not told or told incorrectly. Usually if there is one blank, then it is one word or two blanks for two words. Not in these puzzles, good luck figuring that out. And I think he is pulling clues and answers from any dictionary around the world and some out of thin air. Very disappointing and I will not be purchasing any more of his puzzle books.
