This textbook is no longer relevant; many of the studies Samaha references are from the 80's and 90's. Unfortunately my professor decided to use this book despite much of the information being outdated. If I had read it in 2006 I would have given it 3 stars because the information would be relevant but the writing is too conversational and embedding entire paragraphs of quotes is just lazy.

Came in perfect condition, got an A in the class, I am happy.

The book was in good condition. No problems at all.

Now this book "again" is of law school quality that I feel is included in any legal setting put forth to future law students and attorney's
to acquire. Again I shall re-ederate "I think" this book just had to be considered by any viable Law School as legal concepts to be considered or all forms of legal practice.

Great condition, too bad my teacher rarely used it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in criminal justice.

I never really used the book to many times during the semester, due to the PowerPoint's my teacher gave us; but it did come in handy a few times when I needed clarification on anything.
