This novel is dedicated to Miles, Ryan, Landon, Lexie, and Savannah. Larry Kirshbaum, the illustrious head of Time Warner Book Group, is heading to different pastures, but I canТt let him leave without a final word of praise. I know it was a tough decision, but IТm sure you know whatТs best for you. ItТs been my honor and privilege to work with you, and IТd like to wish you the best of luck in whatever future awaits. February 2005 Is love at first sight truly possible? Sitting in his living room, he turned the question over in his mind for what seemed to be the hundredth time. Outside, the winter sun had long since set.

Yet he wasn't alone, and he pulled himself up from his spot on the couch and walked down the hall to peek in on her.

There are a few things Jeremy Marsh was sure he’d never do: he’d. After reading many Nicholas Sparks books, I thought that he lost his magic. So, when I first saw this book, it had 'boredom' written all over it.

He has seventeen published novels as of September 2013 plus one non-fiction. Eight have been adapted to films, including: Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, Nights in Rodanthe, Dear John, The Last Song, The Lucky One, Safe Haven, and most recently The Longest Ride. No further action is required. Join The Mailing List.

The first book I read by Nicholas Sparks frustrated me and made me unhappy. So unhappy that for years I refused to read another. A friend told me I had to read the "Believer" book so I did, and actually REALLY, really liked it. So I picked up the sequel. Once again I experienced complete frustration due to the expected and somewhat predicted ending. I laughed, cried, and experienced just about every emotion possible while I read this book; as you normally would while reading a book by this Author. A definite must read!!

At First Sight is a romance novel by Nicholas Sparks, written in 2005. Set in North Carolina, United States, At First Sight is the sequel to Sparks’ previous book, True Believer, written in the same year. At First Sight was originally the result of a 45-page epilogue in True Believer. It was then that Sparks got the idea to write At First Sight as its predecessor.

Alvin offered, sounding at a loss. What do you think it means? After reading the message a dozen times, Jeremy had finally reached for the phone. I don’t know, he said rnal? No, Jeremy answered, I just got the e-mail. I haven’t had time to do anything. Look through Doris’s journal. I don’t even know what I’m supposed to be looking for.

Eleven of his novels have been adapted into major films - The Longest Ride, The Best of Me, Safe Haven, The Lucky One, The Last Song, Dear John, Nights in Rodanthe, Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook and The Choice. Библиографические данные. At First Sight Jeremy Marsh.

There are a few things Jeremy Marsh was sure he'd never do: he'd never leave New York City; never give his heart away again after barely surviving one failed marriage; and, most of all, never become a parent. Now, Jeremy is living in the tiny town of Boone Creek, North Carolina, married to Lexie Darnell, the love of his life, and anticipating the birth of their daughter. But just as his life seems to be settling into a blissful pattern, an unsettling and mysterious message re-opens old wounds and sets off a chain of events that will forever change the course of this young couple's marriage.Dramatic, heartbreaking and surprising, this is a story about the love between a man and a woman and between a parent and a child. More than that, it is a story that beautifully portrays how the same emotion that can break your heart is also the one that will ultimately heal it.While the novel picks up the tale of Lexie Darnell and Jeremy Marsh that started in True Believer and will delight fans of that novel, it stands on its own as one of Nicholas Sparks's most deeply moving love stories.

I bought this book because it was written by Nicholas Sparks. I actually haven't read his books in many years. I don't know if I was different then, or this book is unlike the others, but it was a little slow reading. Not sure what it was about it, but I just didn't wake up in the morning wondering what would happen next. That's not to say I won't go ahead and read the next one- just to see. Maybe it's just all in my mind. The story was good, the characters interesting, but not deep enough. I want to feel as if I know the people I'm reading about

As us usual this novel was excellent reading right from the very beginning. I have now read so many of Nicholas Sparks stories, and I find that it's amazing that this author's ability to grab my interest and continue to hold it right to the last word is what keeps me coming back for more and more of his writings.

I love Nicholas Sparks! Ever since I was in high school I was forced to read things, I would look through the library for an hour and just couldnt catch on to somthing. I would pick out several books and read the back... what basically summarizes the book and should be of interest. Well I would almost always put the book back. The day I picked up a Nicholas Sparks book I thought oh The Last Song! I loved that movie. I thought forsure if I like any book it would have certainly been this one! So I checked out the limit of three, and so began my collection of reading his books and trying to finish the book before they had made the movie. I loved that I could compare and contrast, and think to myself while watching the movie that a whole lot more happened that people were missing out on. Which had made me very happy I read the book. Knowing all the slight details from reading the book helped me pick up on the little things in the movie that I never would have caught if I didn't read what that actor was thinking. I love them they are all love stories or very heatfelt stories that I feel Nicholas Sparks has personally experienced. Because of his books I want to reach out and grab more books off the shelf. I'm more interested in learning new things now that I'm out of high school and not being forced to do so. I want to educate myself through books and reading and I think by easing my way in and building my vocabulary through reading has helped me want to do so. I have never NOT liked one book of his that I have read. I also continue to purchase ones that I havn't read or heard of but if it has his name on it I know I won't be disapointed. Once you pick up his book I hope you have some time on your hands because I'd bypass time and cry and laugh and next thing I knew it was about time for bed. I feel like they are friends I wish I had and experiences that I have overcome. I loved Nicholas Sparks and his books and I think if I did anyone will!

Well, that's the last book I will read by Mr. Sparks. It is almost a given that there is going to be a tragedy. I know life is rough, heck, at my age, I've seen a lot of the "worst of times". I read to escape, to find different views on life, etc. It just seems this author is stuck in the "Fall in love, be really happy, lover tragically dies - and we have all kinds of subtle messages too" mode.

I must grudgingly admit that I really do enjoy this author's style and character development. Though not exceptionally deep the characters are believable and interesting. However, the first book I read, Nights In Rodanthe, infuriated me because the author felt he had to step in and give brief little glimpses into the future - I hate that. So when the predicted future arrived, I decided not to waste my time with by this author. Now, after reading "At First Sight", I know I will avoid a future publications by Mr. Sparks. I'll find more upbeat and less predictable novels by upbeat authors, like maybe Dean Koontz.
