An Heir For Burracombe by Lilian Harry is the 5th book in the Burracombe Village series, and it starts up immediately where the 4th in the series left off. It is the morning after the new Queens' Coronation and the village is in the process of cleaning up after the celebrations.

It's a summer's day in 1953 that turns Hilary Napier's life upside-down. When Marianne, a beautiful French woman, knocks on her door, Hilary can't help but be struck by Robert, the young boy with her. He has the same eyes as the brother she lost in the war.

Another good one.

Great stories - interesting history of that part of England. I was born and raised in England so these books are of special interest to me.

A young man has come to Burracombe and he may be the son of Baden Napier, who died during the war. But Hilary is not so sure, but she is sure that her life may change forever. Jennifer and Travis' lives are certainly changing. They are getting married. Luke's and Val's lives are also changing with the arrival of their child. But all changes are not for the better and some may bring new sadness.
"An Heir for Burracombe" by Lillian Harry was okay addition to the series. I have to admit that I am getting a little tired with Hilary's attitude and I keep hoping that it will change. But overall "An Heir for Burracombe" was a nice addition to the series.
