Susie Bright, as usual, lives up to her name. Her intelligence shines through in this collection of sometimes startling, always highly charged stories. Especially, don’t skip Herotica 3’s passionate Introduction

One of the oldest feminist challenges is to eliminate the double standard, to move from barefoot and pregnant to orgasmic and decisive. "0 So writes Bright in her introduction to this wide-ranging and inclusive (gay, straight, married, adulterous, twosomes, groups) collection of women's erotica. With titles like ""Erotoplasmic Orgasmic,"" ""Two Guys and a Girl,"" and ""About Penetration,"" these stories are written-exultantly and without apology - in a spirit of exploration and frank arousal.

The highly anticipated sequel to the successful underground classic which won praise from feminists and erotica collectors alike for giving voice to the wide range of women's sexual experience. Here are 28 new raunchy and romantic tales to spark the libido--something for every taste.
  • Wel
I have read Herotica 1 & 3 and finally came back to read this edition. These are great books. The one thing I enjoy the best is that these stories are written by women and for women. All of the erotica I had read before discovering these read like a cheesy male-dominated adult film. Like the comments on the others in the series though, these have something for everyone but not everyone would like everything. My husband and I read these together and have found quite a few stimulating ideas. A definite must read for anyone who loves well-written erotica from a woman's point of view.

Highly enjoyable

I bought this book because it was put forth as recommended reading by Tee A. Corinne in her anthology `Lovers - love and sex stories'.

Don't miss the brief author bios at the end of the book or the in-depth 9 page introduction written by Susie Bright in 1991.

I think at least 10 of these 26 stories gave a satisfying answer to that question. Congratulations to the writers and editors. Ladies, you're just great!
