.....Very excited to start reading this book on my vacation to Mexico.... but why is my book so GIANT SIZE ?? I ordered the paperback and I just can't believe how Big it is !! ...My book is 8.5 inches by a full 10.5 inches !! ...And the actual words are in a regular paperback size 4.2" X 6.5" (mine , on my shelves are ) ...I cant believe there's so much open, wasted space on each page ..It's just Huge and it's going to be very awkward to hold in a lounge chair by the beach.... please don't judge. You can't, in any way hold it with one hand :( ...kinda bummed. I hope it's a great book :) ..but I would have never dreamed it would be as humongous as it is..... Maybe it stated somewhere in the description before I bought it, maybe the $15 should have told me, but the storyline grabbed me and I wanted more....

I am so excited to have found a new author to love!!! This is a beautiful story and definitely has the potential to be continued as a series (fingers crossed! I want to know what happens to the best friend!!) I loved the interaction between the main characters, and the love scenes are definitely H.O.T. I was especially impressed by the author's capability to bring her characters to life for me. I will definitely seek out more books by this author!

I loved this book, couldn't put it down till I finished it. The characters were well drawn out, and I loved the nine wishes rather than the normal three. It hinted at a possible second book, but I guess that one will be a while yet. The book is definitely a new fave. I laughed and I cried and truly enjoyed the storyline.

This book reads well. She put the perfect spin on an old tale....genie in a bottle. Hot scenes between the characters and they were well developed. You will love it!!! Another great D'Abo creation!!!!

This ended up surprising me! I wasn't at all sure where the book was headed during the first couple of chapters, and nothing in the summary drew my attention much, so I grew to assume it would be a lower quality, "filler" read. Boy, was I wrong! This ended up being a surprising, romantic, more than sensual, and even sometimes laugh-out-loud humorous book. Great balance between romance, heat, and fun.

First of all, the heroine is a relief. No more perfect body types most women can't relate to. There's an emphasis on working with what one has as she's a respectable size 12, who wears baggy clothes, and doesn't have a clue about her worth or capabilities when the story begins. And, by the time it ends, she has transformed, but not by losing a single pound. She becomes comfortable in her own skin, and she notices how well-received her confidence is. So, I can't help but be cheered by that concept and positive message.

The tale begins by copying the traditional genie theme (i.e. rules include only 3 wishes, genie can't make someone love you, you can't wish for more wishes etc.). After that, however, it was most unconventional. :)

I was afraid the characters would fall madly in love at first site, but that didn't happen either. I truly underestimated the author and the novel.

The hero, Jerod, spends time getting to know Viola by default when he grants her first wish. Viola is sent to a resort for a week-long company-paid vacation, and since this is where she finds his bottle, they had plenty to do. Viola's reactions let Jerod know what kind of person she is, and his treatment of her (going above and beyond) shows her the same. It's a believable relationship with average fears and insecurities..."And a whole lot of magic!"

I highly recommend this. If you have the patience, read the whole thing. If not, skip to the chapter where Viola arrives at the beach, because it's pretty cool from thereon out.

Intimate scenes are scorching hot. The magic makes them more enticing than anything else I've read to date. "All Bottled Up" is most definitely a double entendre as passions born of lust, love, loneliness, and abstinence chased both of them.

The ending is halfway obvious, but you can't actually guess it. That's also a treat.

Every time Viola stepped outside of her comfort zone, I felt a tiny bit more alive with her. I could easily imagine all the exotic places they visited, and it made me long to find this particular genie for myself to experience the same things.

Bottom Line: A bit of adventure, a LOT of romance and passionate tension, and likable characters with believable issues and feelings. It's not perfect, but it was definitely better than expected and worth every penny in my opinion. I hope this review is helpful to you!
