This is a good book by Claudia. I am a medical transcriptionist and need many reference books. This is a book that I would recommend for anyone looking for a surgical word book.

The book that I have currently is dated copyright 1991. I received the book in 1992. I have been a med. transcriptionist for 15 years and am always learning new things. This book really needs to be updated more often. Personally, I think the book should be updated every two years.

This book has really help with terminology. I had difficulty figuring out how to look things up when I figured out how they had it sorted it was easiler. I still find the doctors dictate words that are not in this book.
