Light Fantastic book. It covers everything from Dame Edna to Edward Albee, and is never less than entertaining. The book is split into four categories: Comedians, Playwrights, Musicals, Productions. It's not necessary to have seen the plays and productions that Lahr writes about, but of course, it adds to the appreciation of the book if you have.
