Hey, it's a used PB book, so what do you need to know? Read it years ago when it first came out. Written by Barry Sadler, who wrote "The Ballad of the Green Berets." It's part of a series, and I hope to find more of them to re-read. Enjoyed this one again, and happy my wife bought if for me after I mentioned it in connection w/ something else. Too bad it's not available in e-book format. She's allergic to book dust, so she took an extra allergy pill rather than interrupt my night-time reading with sneezes. Almost all her books are e-books nowadays.

Excellent little series of books an outstanding blend of fact and fiction. Am reading a series I started in 77 and lost track of till now
Another great story of Casca the Barbarian as he travels in time from place to place. The author did an excellent job developing the characters for the reader to either hate or love. The plot itself was very creative. I listened to this book in audio and the narration was excellent. The narrator was smooth and steady and knew when to us rise and reflection. Casca is a soldier’s dream life, one filled with fighting, good times and bad, and always women. Well worth the time to read or listen to for an enjoyable story.
