This was an excellent entry in the Choose-Your-Own-Adventure series. As someone who's interested in New Zealand and the Maoris (and currently writing a book incorporating them!), I recommend this. You play the nephew of an anthropology professor who invites you to New Zealand to help him search for a lost Maori tribe. Unfortunately, there are also bad guys hot on your trail, and other unforunate incidents such as "bad endings." There is some kind of prophecy that you might be part of too. Play the choices at the bottom of the page right and you will come to the right ending(s). It comes complete with a glossary of Maori terms at the beginning. I recommend this one to CYOA enthusiasts!

This book is very exciting and mysterious. You are on an expedition with one of your relatives. You are looking for the ruins of a lost tribe in New Zealand. In some parts of the book you find the tribe and not just their ruins! The tribe members believe you might be part of a prophcy to give them back their land. But that does not mean that they might not still kill you! Did I mention the terrorists?
