Christopher Mark Robinson (born December 20, 1966) is an American musician. He is the singer of the rock and roll band The Black Crowes, is the brother of its guitarist Rich Robinson, and is the vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the Chris Robinson Brotherhood. Robinson was born in Marietta, Georgia, just outside Atlanta. He is the son of Nancy Jane (née Bradley) and Stanley "Stan" Robinson, who had a minor Billboard charted record in 1959 called "Boom-A-Dip-Dip" and who died in September 2013.

Chris Robinson Brotherhood began as an experiment but became a 'band' during their California residency tour . The original intention, according to Robinson, was to "have a local . band, just play in California, see where the music takes us, and have a good time". They then embarked on an 118 date North American tour in 2011.

Offering a message of hope to anyone afflicted with a drug addiction problem, Alan Boden spares no punches in his story of how he manages to turn his life around after an intense life of uncontrolled drug addiction since his early teens. Only in his thirties does he begin to recognise the futility of the life he is leading and begins the long, slow road back to rehabilitation and complete freedom from drug dependency. Using many years of addiction as invaluable experience, he not only wins the battle with himself, but devotes his working life to train as a counsellor and help others suffering from the same desperation.
