Thais also grow up independent and serious: if a child . On the way, the little assistants are accompanied by a hidden camera.

Thais also grow up independent and serious: if a child fell and soiled his clothes, he would have to go through it until the evening. After all, they were warned about the consequences of mischief. The result of this approach is that from the first years at school, children get to school and back without accompanying people. Children learn what entertainment is early: at the age of 11-12 they can be at a children's party. Those start around 23:00 and last 3-4 hours.

Sudbury Valley offers each student a place to fulfill that ambition and discover their unique points of excellence. The result was a unique combination of liberty and responsibility that has been Sudbury Valley's hallmark ever since. In 1968, a group of parents and educators founded a school based on a clear vision of the individual freedom needed by children to flourish, and of a community governed equally by all its members. The school was first conceived half a century ago, in the Fall of 1965.

Of the handful of books that I retained from my childhood, this is the one that has resonated with my daughter. I have to guess that my mother bought this book for me because I was the "littlest girl" in my kindergarten class. My own daughter is 7, in second grade, and is dealing with other kids telling her that she's too little to be in second grade. She's doing a book report on this book, and I'm thrilled. It's empowering to her... teaches her that she won't be a little girl forever, and she'll be helping other little boys and girls very soon!

My daughter and I both loved this book. It helped her to learn a good work ethic as a little girl. We wish we still had the book. She is now 26 and still remembers the story. I wish the book was still being published so we could get another copy. I remember giving the book away with regret years ago. It would make a wonderful addition to any child's library.

This is a great book with extraordinary pictures. It is about a small girl who is dealing with growing up. It gives a clear view of the things that little kids can do but not grownups. It show her not being able to do those things anymore and being able to do new and exciting things. This is a great book for girls big and small.
