A great play -- sadly forgotten

Before I began reading "Stand-up..." I read the authors notes, Bill Cain said that its meant to be very "in your face." However nothing prepared me for what I was about to read.

There are some parts of "Stand-up" that are beautiful, and make total sense. There are ,many, other parts that are so distored and seem to get lost in the very confusing writing. To me the play could have ended with ACT I, but there are parts of ACT II that need to be in the show.

It seems like Bill Cain did not use a editor, because there are a few typo's and they style of Stage Directions between each ACT is very different.

It's a story with a message, a MUST read if you are a teacher. Teachers will find this story something they can completly relate to, enjoy!
