Further education generally refers to education undertaken by adults of all ages after leaving full-time study, often after years or even decades of intervening occupation. It doesn’t include degree courses taken at college or university directly after leaving high school, which come under higher education. It also excludes short day and evening classes, . those held at community colleges and usually termed ‘continuing education’ (although there’s often a fine distinction between further and continuing education)

I purchased this book to try to get a home schooler ready for the AP US History exam, wanting to go with a mainstream college text. I haven't read enough to fully evaluate its ideological slant (if any) yet, but I've found nothing surprising so far (supplementing course readings with contrasting views is a fun part of learning anyway). The book is clearly-written and visually appealing, with plenty of helpful maps and large vocabulary lists in every chapter. One person found this helpful.

This is a college freshman survey book of American History. It reads well, but moves too quickly over any given period and works best when complimented by additional academic texts. Overall it moves in a logical fashion and serves the purpose of providing a brief and general overview of American history through the Civil War and re-construction. The section on the Civil War was far too light. The Revolutionary War generally received the bulk of the text.

Education in early America began in the home at the mother’s knee, and often ended in the cornfield or barn by the father’s side. The answer to this supposed problem is simple. The books were bought by parents, and illiteracy was absent because parents taught their children how to read outside of a formal school setting. Coupled with the vocational skills children learned from their parents, home education met the demands of the free market. For many, formal schooling was simply unnecessary. Christopher Dock, who made several notable contributions to the science of pedagogy, taught in one of these schools for many years.

Make America Great Again" (often abbreviated as MAGA /ˈmæ. ə/) is a campaign slogan used in American politics that was popularized by Donald Trump in his 2016 presidential campaign. Ronald Reagan used the similar slogan "Let's make America great again" in his successful 1980 presidential campaign.

Топик средней сложности - The US System of Education - Система образования в СШ. .American education remains today what it was in the earliest days of the Republic: the anvil upon which the national culture is created and adapted to changing needs. Its goal is universal education from kindergarten to university. All, regardless of race or class or economic status, are entitled to a fair chance and to the tools for developing their individual powers of mind and spirit to the utmost. Education in the United States comprises three basic levels: elementary, secondary and higher education.
