Riccardo Galgani is a Scottish playwright and screenwriter, born in Glasgow in 1969. His work for the stage includes: Acts (part of the triptych Family staged by the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, in 1999); Green Field (Traverse, 2002) and The Found Man (Traverse, 2005). He was also Pearson Playwright in Residence at the Traverse between 2001 and 2002.

Green field - riccardo galgani. Jo and her husband Bill live in a show house on a green-field site outside Glasgow. They are throwing a dinner party for Katie and her new man, Bob, a removal van driver. However Bob seems hardly to know Katie, and, more troublingly, Katie herself is nowhere to be found.

Jo is preparing a dinner party in her and Bill's lovely show house on the new estate. It's good to catch up when you've got things in common. Especially when your best friend Katie is bringing along her new man, Bob, to meet everyone for the first time. But while Jo is fussing in the kitchen, Bill would prefer to be in the garage. Things are starting to get awkward. . . .
