Random Polynomials: Probability and Mathematical Statistics: A Series of Monographs and Textbooks. The book takes a look at convergence and limit theorems for random polynomials and distribution of the zeros of random algebraic polynomials, including limit theorems for random algebraic polynomials and random companion matrices and distribution of the zeros of random algebraic polynomials. The publication is a dependable reference for probabilists, statisticians, physicists, engineers, and economists.

Albert Turner Bharucha-Reid (November 13, 1927 – February 26, 1985) was an American mathematician and theorist who worked extensively on probability theory, Markov chains, and statistics. The author of more than 70 papers and 6 books, his work touched on such diverse fields as economics, physics, and biology. Bharucha-Reid was born Albert Turner Reid, the son of William Thaddeus Reid and Mae Marie Beamon Reid of Hampton, Virginia.

This book presents an introduction to probability and mathematical statistics and it is intended for students already having some mathematical background. This book contains more than 350 completely worked out examples and over 165 illustrations. Moreover, this book contains over 450 problems of varying degrees of difficulty to help students master their problem solving skill.

Random variables can be any outcomes from some chance process, like how many heads will occur in a series of 20 flips. We calculate probabilities of random variables and calculate expected value for different types of random variables.
