Very nice extensively illustrated review of Frankentheler's work on paper. Nicely formatted. Written frankly and eloquently.

It had beautiful illustrations of her paintings. The colors are wonderful. Some very scholarly description of paintings--almost too much so for my class of retired seniors. There was some description of her career which (in the text) were chronologically selected by decades. It would have been helpful if the plates were located along with the decades. For a class presentation, I would need another book that spoke more of her personal life. On the whole, I am very glad I bought--especially since most of her books are table copies and cost a lot of money!
