Georges Rouault: The Passion (Fine Art Series) Paperback. Rouault was certainly a romantic and this book include some of his writing. Somehow the book’s physical form, text, and plates come together here in what is, for me, the most perfect book on this artist. It is dated in terms of technology, but for me that is an irreplaceable part of its appeal. This book seems not just of another time, but of another, more human world.
