Yet the girl in the passenger seat is unhurt-miraculously held in place. Heavenly miracles : magical true stories of guardian angels and answered prayers, Jamie C.

In this new volume, the authors of the bestselling Christmas Miracles, The Magic of Christmas Miracles, Mothers' Miracles, and A Gift of Miracles share more than thirty of the most transcendent and mystical true stories they have encountered of ordinary people whose lives were transformed by wondrous events, including:

"An Angel's Hand": A struck car spins wildly, sending the passenger door and seat belt flying. Yet the girl in the passenger seat is unhurt--miraculously held in place. "A Path Through the W ilderness ": Fleeing to freedom, a mother and son are led safely through a mine-infested forest by a blessed nighttime apparition."Thanks, Tad": A child receives visits from the grandfather who died years before she was born. "Matchmaker in Heaven ": A mysterious red-haired woman has some surprising insights into the personal ads."A Shaving Cream Surprise ": A husband sends a tender message to his grieving widow.

"Miracles come more often than we might suppose," the authors write, "and it's very likely that every family has at least one story they could tell. Each small miracle seems to come as part of a greater plan, to accomplish a thing of worth, to help change a life, in addition to offering comfort. Heavenly miracles--proof of God's love and involvement in our lives--are all around us." Let Heavenly Miracles enrich your heart, mind, and soul and remind us all that miracles do, indeed, happen.

These stories are written very believably. They are also not older stories, nor are they ones you've probably heard or read before (some of these type of books seem to take and re-print previously published stories, and the reader is not sure if they are "urban myths", as they are often re-printed and not attributed to an author). These stories are all attributed to authors, and seem very inspired and current. Please keep in mind though, that most of them seem to have a "Christian bent" (with titles like "A POPE'S BLESSING,A CHRISTMAS PRAYER, or some stories--several actually--speaking of Sundays at church, Christmas happenings, as in HELEN'S GIFT, etc.)
If you are not someone who would be deterred, put off or offended by this, then the stories are inspirational, solid and believable. I myself am a Jew, not very religious, although spiritual, and even I am liking the stories but still finding them a little hard to keep getting past the "Christian-speak". I should have had an inkling of this, considering the author's previous books, but none of the reader reviews, nor the edit review gave an indication that this was the case.
That all being said, I love to read stories of inspiration, and as stated previously, these stories are (mostly) all pretty strong/well-written. I just wanted any potential readers/buyers to know this information previous to purchasing this book.

Before reading these so-called inspiring stories about "angels", you should read A Trip into the Supernatural by Roger Morneau. Mr. Morneau was deep into seeing "angels" until he discovered that those were not really good angels but evil spirits disguised. He had terrible battles with the spirits of darkeness who at first presented themselves as good people, even dead family members. He went on to write another story called Beware of Angels. These are must read for all who are interested in truth.
