The contract called for two books in the Calder series Dailey has written about a ranching family in Montana, and two books with holiday themes. Kensington expanded their relationship with Dailey in 2002, when she contracted for three more hardcover novels about the Calder family and an additional mass market original novel.

Jimmie grew up soon a ranch riding horses and loving the outside life. She developed a crush on have the ranch foreman when she was a teenager and felt she could talk to him about her problems she decided to go to new York and become a model and over six years she became a top model ,very.much in demand. When she returned home to introduce her boyfriend to her parents, have is not happy to see her lover.

This book is one of my favorites of Janet Dailey's. It is a short but intense love story that I re read often

It's a nice short contemporary story that has the feeling of old southern comfort. The heroine is coming home after leading a glamorous glitzy life in the city. She finds that there is no place like home specially when there's someone worth coming home to.
