The Trustworthy Redhead (Sedikhan). Love Iris johansen's books. I really have purchased all of Iris Johansen books. I love reading her work. This was one of the earlier books she wrote. This was part of a series from years ago that I somehow missed. Was glad to finally read Clancy's story.

I would definitely read The Golden Valkyrie first. This book is centered on Alex's life now but the first book, The Golden Valkyrie is based on Honey Winston and Prince Rubinoff.

When Princess Rubinoff hired Sabrina Courtney to deliver very special birthday wishes to her husband's best friend, she never warned her that Alex Ben Rashid had a powerful weakness for red-haired ladies...an omission that made their first meeting a volatile one. From the moment Alex saw her he wanted to possess her totally, to make her succumb to his desire for her. But, though Sabrina could be pliable and tender when it was on her own terms, her independent nature rebelled at his arrogance. Could a man who was used to getting everything he wanted learn to trust the woman he loved?

this book is from one of my favorite authors but it didn't have enough heart. I would have liked more of a story. Things were rushed and nobody falls in love so easy. I know it's fantasy but a touch of reality is nice too.

This is one of my favorite authors. I have enjoyed reading, her plots are interesting and complex. This was one of her first books, from an old publisher. The book is short in comparison to other books, about 200 pages, so the plot is not as complex as someof her later books. I also liked the fact that it is part of a series, she was one of the first to have characters that show up in more than one book. If I like a character, I am sorry when the book is finished. I like having characters show up in another story.

It was a real page turner. The characters were real and the story was well constructed.

My only complaint, which is not the book, but is not knowing which book is the first in the series, the next, the next, and so on until the very last book in the series. Even though the books are stand alone, they are also a part of a group and it would be more enjoyable to read them in order.

I have been enjoying the adventures in Sedikhan since they first came out -- however, the inprint versions have disappeared to family and friends over the years. It's great to reconnect with the heroes and heroines of the "Sedikhan" folks. The only thing I don't enjoy is probably paying more for the Kindle version than I paid for the "inprint" version when they first came out.

This vintage "Loveswept" romance series by Iris Johansen (although written in the "80's") is still as much fun now as it was back then. I'm quite a bit longer in the tooth so's to speak, but it helps me reconnect with my much younger self.
Although the world has changed much, this series will delight and amuse you.
The good guys are handsome scoundrels reformed by the love of a beautiful, and intellengent woman, and the bad guys get what's coming to them.
Take a chance, enjoy, and breath a satified sigh when the last page is done. You won't regret it.

The Prince finds his redheaded love of his life, but his bullheaded ways hinder the relationship. But the fun begins savagely finally agree on their love for each other.
Don't waste your time. The red head is a ditz and the male pursuing her acts like a 13 year old boy. Over priced. I've read better dialogue on $.99 books. Very disappointed in Iris, she is better than this. Especially after ready Killer Dreams and her Bonnie sagas.Comparing it to a dollar store romance is an insult to the books on the squeaky carousel.
