Thousands of students have learned algebra with the Kaufmann Solution. This text is written for college students who need an algebra course that bridges the gap between elementary algebra and the more advanced courses in precalculus mathematics. The basic concepts of intermediate algebra are presented in a simple, straight-forward manner. Algebraic ideas are developed in a logical sequence, through examples, continuously reinforced through additional examples, and then applied in a variety of problem-solving situations. In this edition, special efforts were made by the authors to incorporate improvements suggested by reviewers and by users to earlier editions, while at the same time preserving the book's many successful features.

I'm sure the book would have been very helpful if the seller had ever sent it to us. Amazon has a bad seller here that they should dump and refund our money!

Was a good buy but it doesnt' have the even number solutions for the regular assignments. It only has the chapter reviews for all the number solutions which i could have found in the back of my original book. However, having each step for the entire problem (even though they're the odd ones) has been a huge help.

The delivery of this product was fine, and with no complaints.
However, given the nature of buying over the internet, the
gotcha was that "this wasn't the book I was supposed to get."
So I ended up buying a red herring, since the original school
requirement was a differnt book altogether - "I WAS TRICKED."
The seller wasn't at fault - I was. Buyer, beware.
The text book was in mint condition and shipped very quickly. The difference in price with used versus new was $100 plus dollars. What a Deal.
