I found this to be a wonderfully helpful book in my growth in dealing with my husband's ADD. I had no understanding before reading this book all the issues surrounding a person with ADD and the myriad ways the disorder can impact a relationship. I have good tools to help me grow through the transition from out-of-control to in-control.

My husband of 17 years was diagnosed with ADHD six months ago, and this book was just what I needed. It gave me both guidance and hope, and the examples and advice really spoke to me. Thank you to Susan Tschundi for writing such a well-researched, thoughtful book. I feel calmer, more understanding, and ready to face the challenges of tomorrow with a spouse who has ADHD.

I'm really glad I read this book. I had already read up a lot on ADD and how it affects my spouse but I was still frustrated from having to live with his ADD and felt like I was stuck in the rut of feeling resentful and reacting in the same way to our issues stemming from ADD all the time. This book really helped me to look at myself and what I need to do to help him while still keeping my own sanity. From maintaining realistic expectations to setting boundaries, the advice in this book has really helped me to manage how I frame him, his ADD, and my own role to play in his struggles with ADD within the bounds of our marriage.

Well worth the time to read. Helpful insight to a heavy subject especially for someone not exposed to ADD before

It was perfect for me to learn a little bit more about ADHD. I would recommended it for anyone!

I bought this for my daughter who is now going to get some help at the college clinic. She went well prepared.

Very real world practices to help you relationship with someone with ADHD. Time management is an issue for me and this book has given me tools to help me with my response.
This book singlehandedly melted over 15 years of resentment towards my spouse's hyperfocused and inattentive actions. He was recently diagnosed with ADHD inattentive type at the age of 40. All of his tendencies and actions make sense to me now. This book helped my view of our marriage, and of my husband, for the better. A deep thank you to the author.
