Japanese illustrator Keigo has thrilled us before with his quirky and at times absurd illustrations, often based on animals. Keigo describes himself as An ordinary office worker who lives an ordinary life with his wife and daughter. He finds happiness in his hobby of animal drawings, which has blossomed into something much more as people have responded to his work. In the past five years, these funny cartoons have become my daily homework, he says. This kind of life continues, I can't make friends at all, but through social media, I have gained the support of many fans and finally I have been able to publish my own books.

I first learned about this book while mentoring at an elementary school here. On the pond behind our home, gators visit and I wanted this book for my grandson who is very interested in them. This is a perfect educational book with just enough information for a young person to absorb and remember. The service I received in ordering was great and the book in perfect condition. Thanks!

In a mere 32 pages this book covers the animal's natural habitat, characteristics, prey and predator and much more. The pictures are simply beautiful and I love that they used bold large font so that kids and parents can read it without squinting. The way the facts are layed out throughout the book seems more like a game so kids won't even think of it as "learning" or "hard work". I purchased the whole set-18 books individually. They are ridiciously cheap on Amazon on other websites they are going for over $200 for the set. Makes a great gift for an animal lover or an excellent way to start an inexpensive animal encyclopedia in your home.
