While the detail in the book is good, the book is too "exercise" oriented and limited. I feel the book would be more helpful if the commands featured were organized better and more clearly identified by the applicable "tab" where the command originates. I prefer the Visual QuickStart Guide series because it serves as a better desk reference. The Visual QuickStart Guide covers more topics in fewer pages. The ILT series comes in 3 parts across 3 separate books (beginner, intermediate and advanced). It serves as a good classroom aid. But once you go through the ILT series, you may not find yourself using it again because it only features the commands featured in its exercises. You would still need the Visual QuickStart Guide to address a wider range of commands.

Perfect for classes. Wish I had gotten video to have for a refresher. Very informative and was great help in class.

Taking Microsoft Excel 2010 class and was told to order the book and the CD would be included. The CD was not included. This book is now worthless. Now, I just sit in class when the instructor tells the students to work on an exercise on the CD. Very disappointed that I was not told CD was not included. Should have been in the description of the book. I feel as though I have been taken.
