I have been involved in heat pipe design, fabrication, and testing for almost 30 years. To summarize, if you are a student just learning about heat pipes, or are on a limited budget, then this is a great book to get started.

Start by marking Aircraft Dynamic Stability and Response: Pergamon .

Start by marking Aircraft Dynamic Stability and Response: Pergamon International Library of Science, Technology, Engineering and Social Studies as Want to Read: Want to Read savin. ant to Read. This book is comprised of 13 chapters and begins with an introduction to aircraft static stability and maneuverability, with emphasis on the theoretical basis of flight dynamics and the technical terms used. The physical background for the estimation of aerodynamic derivatives is discussed.

This book does not attempt to get philosophical, whimsical or even overly didactic, yet it contains everything you could want to know about the basics of glass production and glassblowing for the science lab.

This is a book that would interest the dilettante who had no intention of ever placing a piece of glass rod or tube near a flame, but who simply wanted to know more about.

With its republication, Kuchemann's influence will extend to the next . Kuchemann establishes three classes of aircraft based on the character of flow involved.

With its republication, Kuchemann's influence will extend to the next generation of aerospace industry students and practitioners and the vehicles they will produce. Each class is suitable for a distinct cruise speed regime: classical and swept aircraft for subsonic and transonic cruise, slender-wing aircraft for supersonic cruise, and wave-rider aircraft for hypersonic cruise. Unlike most engineering texts, which focus on a set of tools, Kuchemann's approach is to focus on the problem and its solution - what kind of flow is best for a given class of aircraft and how to achieve it.

  • Opimath
It's good.
  • Helo
Very detailed aerodynamic theory; many assumptions.
  • GAZANIK
This is a book for those who seek to understand the fundamental principles underlying aircraft aerodynamic design. It won't provide much guidance relating to designing the details of a particular project but it is very illuminating about what general kind of configuration to think about for meeting a given need. As much as anything else Kuechemann is presenting a way of thinking about engineering design problems.

I bought mine in 1980 and it has never gathered dust since then.
